Bag Bug in the Community

Bag Bug, LLC in involved in the local community in several ways. The founder, Isabel, has been an active member in the local community events organized and hosted by The Dallas Entrepreneur Center (The DEC) since mid-2013, both as a volunteer and attendant. In the Fall of 2015 she was elected as one of 25 DEC Ambassadors where she worked on a community project for 3 months. Today, she continues to participate and volunteer in these events with the hope of continuing to grow and expand the awareness of this amazing organization and community.

Bag Bug, LLC also has a strong motivation to give back to the community.

The founder’s uncle had a horrible accident when he was young that left 80% of his body burned.  He spent years in the care of Shriner's Hospital in Galveston thanks to the strength of his family and the professional and wonderful staff of doctors and nurses at the hospital he was able to recover and walk again. He is a brilliant and very successful entrepreneur, is happily married, and has two beautiful daughters.

Isabel has also watched her aunt and sister suffer from an incurable auto-immune disease. Their struggle and daily pain has and continues to deeply affect how she approaches life.  Currently, there is no cure for Lupus but she hopes that her donations will help advance the research further.

For Isabel, her company’s goal is just a natural extension of her empathy for others.

Determined to raise funds and awareness for these two causes, Bag Bug, LLC will donate a portion of the profits to Shriner’s Hospital for Burned Children as well as to the Lupus Research Institute
